What does succinic acid do that other acids don't?

Succinic acid works on congestion and excess oil without the sting most exfoliating acids bring. It is gentler than glycolic and less drying than a high-strength BHA, which is why it can be used daily where stronger acids can't. Here it is paired with salicylic acid, so you get surface exfoliation and deeper pore clearing from one pad.

How is this different from your AHA/BHA Dual-Action Pads?

The AHA/BHA pads are a resurfacing step used three to four times a week — lactic acid for texture, salicylic for pores, with a dual-textured pad for physical exfoliation. These are a daily maintenance step

Can I really use them every day?

Yes, that is what they are formulated for. The acid strengths are set for daily use and the panthenol offsets the dryness that usually comes with regular exfoliation. If your skin is on the sensitive side, start every other day for the first two weeks and move to daily once you know how it responds.

Will they sting?

Most people feel nothing beyond a light tingle for a few seconds. If you get real stinging, burning, or lasting redness, stop and give your skin a few days. That usually means the barrier needs repair before adding any exfoliation.

Do I rinse afterwards?

No. Wipe the pad across clean, dry skin and leave it. The formula is meant to stay on and absorb. Follow with your serum and moisturiser as normal.

When will I see a difference?

Texture and shine usually shift within the first week or two. Tone and congestion take longer — the four-week testing showed a 97.89% reduction in impurities and a 90% improvement in tone balance over that period. Give it a full four weeks before judging.

Can I use them with retinol or vitamin C?

Yes, with spacing. Use the pads in the morning and retinol at night, or alternate evenings. Layering acids and retinol in the same session is the fastest way to compromise your barrier. Vitamin C is fine on the same day, just not in the same step.

How long will one jar last?

Are they suitable for sensitive or blemish-prone skin?

They are formulated for oily, blemish-prone and sensitive skin — that combination is the whole point of pairing gentle acids with panthenol and niacinamide. That said, sensitive skin varies. Patch test on your jawline for two days before going all over.

Can I use them while pregnant or breastfeeding?

This formula contains salicylic acid. Topical use is generally considered low risk, but it's a question for your doctor or midwife rather than us, and we would rather you asked them.

What should I pair them with?
